Botox

Are you annoyed by these unsightly wrinkles? That line between your eyebrows? The crumples along your forehead? The wrinkles on either side of your eyes?  These changes in age do not require surgical treatment, if you gradually treat the area with Botox® or a dermal filler over time. The procedure is relatively painless, has no recovery time and produces noticeable, but best of all real results with no surgery.

How is the botox procedure performed?

Botox®  is administered by diluting the concentrated powder in a saline solution. It is then injected directly into neuromuscular facial tissue. It takes approximately 24-72 hours for botox® to take effect. This is the time needed for the toxin to flow through the tissue and disrupt the synaptosomal process. In extremely rare circumstances, it could take as long as 5 days for the full effect of botox® to be noticed.

Botulinum toxin should not be used in pregnant or lactating women, or by people who have had a previous allergic reaction to the drug or any of its ingredients.

Botox® takes up to 72 hours to take effect and make a noticeable difference.
